AGO-uprising party 2009 : 2.April 2009-AGO massive party-UPRISING-in new art gallery in TORONTO

1600 guests , few floors open for walking around in the evening time to see some contemporary-modern art , music, drinks and food from 9pm till very late night .Some performances as John Lennon's time presenting his message of love and peace for the world with daisies to give to others.
It was spectacular evening with very big mix of people from around the world, different parts Canada and cities. Very elegant dresses to casual with artistic input.
Fantastic experience, felt like being on other planet and ,,finally,, is the word i felt. The ART is starting to be important again in this city TORONTO and around the world.

AGO new opening 2008-Pavla visiting : November 10, 2008 Toronto.
Finally AGO is open, as member i was able take artist Jack Koca with me for members preview opening.
Almost finished, some constructions in run, still litle work must be done inside and outside, but it does look really cook. Have look for your self and enjoy it.

Friend Concert - RON DAVIS at Hugh's Room : WOW, it was fantastic concert, i am calling it contemporary jazz, RON DAVIS our friend had a concert in Hugh's Room, TORONTO, where he released his new CD with wonderful music,,THE BESTSELLER,,
Felt in time of Picasso time, Paris where all artists were getting together as music and painter. As well felt like in New York, where jazz was finally appreciated by city people in the time. Excellent experience.
Daniela Nardi wife composer her self was there to support his spirit, Timothy artist came too with his wife, and for sure out dear friend Ladka and Shahram spent time with us enjoying the lovely evening.

Who we met? Her darling composer Ron Davis and his friend Brian, manager director of The GLEN GOULD Foundation, and other friend photographer Timothy Neesam, artist Diana....and than celebrating with great friends Angela, Ernie, Gabriela,Felix. Thanks for all gifts and paintings from my brother's boys (age 1-7) living in Czech. Enjoy it.

Masaryk Town, Thomas Bata Funeral, concert My Country, Birthday Verka : September 2008 was a busy month.Minister Jiri Cunek arrived in Toronto from Prague, stopped In Masaryk Town, where i was in same time as picking up Honza to go to Thomas Bata funeral.
My parents knew them both ,as they visited their backery, CYRILOVO PEKARSTVI, in Czech republic , which they both loved their specialty, FRGALY.

After funeral Verka Kohoutova celebrated her birthday in Masaryk Town.

A few weeks later, I went to a concert"My County" dedicated to Bata, by Czech composer A.Dvorak, conducted by Kerry Stratom, whom I met personally.

Busy, but intersting month.

ARTshow-HEIDI BURKHART : THE GALLERY WALL was proud to display the work of Heidi Burkhardt "THE ROAD SO FAR..." November 4-29, 2008. Pavla know HEIDI for few years, as our very mutual friend is artist JACK KOCA. Charlene and Pavla went for this amazing opening full of people. Heidi is one very good Canadian artist connected to Canadian nature as GROUP OF SEVEN was. Pavla bought one of her paintings , very lucky got one, all of them got sold especially those small sizes. Supporting each other as artist is the way to go.
Those who didn't came missed fantastic show, be ready for next one.

ART Christmas at LYNCH company : December 20, 2008 Pavla was invited and present her art work at private company party at www.lynch.ca with other artist showing their art in this special Christmas evening. (Charlene Chantrand, Corinne Lynch, Cylla von Tiedeman, Daniel Dubois, Angela Lynch, Cathy Forster, Johanna Lynch, ...... and the owner of company Ernie Lynch)

Felix and Pavla had wonderful time, meting new Slovak friends.

Because of snow storm, we missed some singers, my friends Charlene Chantrand , Daniela Nardi and Ron Davis....

ROB FAUST THEATRE 2009 : ROB FAUST is Pavla very good actor friend, we went to see his first performance on Friday, it was excellent show, creative... just beautiful. Amazing what one man can do in one hour on stage. CONGRATULATION.
